Sauvignon Blanc and a touch of Semillon were used in our first trial batch of orange wine. The dry grown fruit was macerated and fermented for 6 days with twice daily pump overs. From start of ferment to bottle this wine has expressed tropical notes of guava, pineapple and tangerine.
Margaret River Organic Wines is a sub-brand of Settlers Ridge. We set this brand up for innovative and experimental small batch releases using certified organic fruit and winemaking techniques. We had self-indulgent fun making this wine and we hope you have self-indulgent fun drinking it.
